I was beyond happy to attend this years LEGENDS of La Cienega in Los Angeles. In just a short time this has become one of the most exciting network and design events within the Interior Design community in the U.S.
The 3-day event is filled with keynote speakers from publications, cocktails parties, open houses, exhibitions and plenty of networking opportunities. LEGENDS 2015 was a show stopper of the “who’s who” in the Interior Design Industry. Started in 2014, LEGENDS has attracted over 60,000 attendees and garnered over 130 million media impressions since its inception. It is the largest design event of its kind on the West Coast, and is a prominent fixture on the national design event calendar.
La Cienega Design Quarter, the location of the event, boasted its very own official lineup of LEGENDS Ambassadors for 2015 that included Catherine M. Austin Interior Design, Cozy•Stylish•Chic,Bright.Bazaar, The Peak of Chic, Remodelista, La Dolce Vita Blog, The Style Saloniste, Stylebeat, and The English Room! #LCDQLA #onlyinLCDQLA
This year, 62 talented designers from around the country transformed windows of LCDQ (La Cienega Design Quarter) shops, showrooms and galleries based on the theme “Where Muses Dwell”. The organization asked the Designers to bring their muses to life and show us WHO, WHAT, WHEN or WHERE inspires them most and harken their inspiration through their windows.
Below are some of my highlights of 2015’s LCDQ. One of the many joys of being in this industry is meeting fantastic and amazingly talented Interior Designers, Manufacturers, and industry influencers and building friendships along the way. Events like LEGENDS are a time to celebrate one another’s success, support one another’s goals, and ignite new and passionate friendships through the process. #LifeIsGoodAndGettingBetter
